History

Following in the foot steps of prior generations of his family who worked in agriculture, Phil embraced the fascinating lifestyle of winegrowing in the beautiful Napa Valley in 2002. Phil with invaluable help from Leopoldo and Martin, earned the respect of his viticultural peers as a hands-on grower who is dedicated to cultivating his land and vines in a sustainable manner that optimizes fruit and wine quality. In the fall of 2005, Phil decided to start crafting estate-grown wines for the public that not only demonstrate great red wines start with attention to detail in the vineyard, but also complement a variety of foods and welcome new consumers.
